When I was preparing for the NDHCE, I quickly realized how frustrating it was to study from resources based on U.S. guidelines. The terminology, tooth numbering, and clinical standards didn’t match what we use in Canada. So I started creating my own study notes and practice questions just to make things clearer for myself. Soon, classmates and colleagues began asking for help. I started tutoring and sharing my materials, and over time, I helped multiple students successfully pass the NDHCE. What surprised me most was how often I heard: “This makes way more sense than anything else I’ve used.” That’s when I was encouraged to turn what I had built into something bigger. RDH Blueprint was created to give Canadian dental hygiene students a clear, focused, and practical way to prepare for the NDHCE, without having to translate from U.S. based content.
